Translate Squla on all browsers!

Welcome to Squla! If you are an expat living in the Netherlands and are interested in knowing more about our platform but you may not (yet) speak Dutch fluently, don’t worry, we’ll walk you through the solution. Fortunately, modern browsers make it easy to automatically translate websites like squla.nl into English, without extra software required. Below we will explain to you how you can do it in just a few steps, depending on the browser you use.

Google Chrome (Windows, macOS, Android)

Chrome is one of the most convenient browsers for website translation.

How to translate:

  1. Open Squla.nl in Google Chrome.
  2. Chrome usually detects the Dutch language and offers a pop-up: click Translate.
  3. If no pop-up appears, right-click on the page and select Translate to English.

Tip: Click the three dots in the pop-up and choose Always translate Dutch to automate it for next time.

Safari (macOS & iOS)

Safari supports translation on newer Apple devices (macOS Big Sur or later, iOS 14+).

On Mac:

  1. Open Squla.nl in Safari.
  2. Click the “Translate” button in the address bar (if available) or the “aA” icon, then select your desired language.
  3. Choose Translate to English.

On iPhone/iPad:

  1. Tap the “aA” icon in the address bar.
  2. Select Translate Website, then choose English.

You may need to enable this under Settings > Safari > Language first.

Microsoft Edge (Windows & macOS)

Edge also includes built-in translation, powered by Microsoft.

Steps:

  1. Visit squla.nl in Edge.
  2. You’ll usually see a translation prompt. Click Translate.
  3. If not, right-click on the page and select Translate to English.

Tip: You can also set it to always translate Dutch automatically.

Internet Explorer (Windows) – Not Recommended

Internet Explorer doesn’t support automatic translation and is no longer updated.

  1. Go to translate.google.com.
  2. Paste the URL: https://www.squla.nl
  3. Set Dutch → English.
  4. Click the translated link to view the website in English.

We recommend switching to Chrome or Edge for a better experience.
